I don't know anyone who says, "I'm so happy I'm going to the doctor today". However, your staff did an excellent job of making me very comfortable. I know I'm not the only patient and your call was appreciated. It brought back memories of my childhood and our family doctor. You are a good doctor and I would recommend your facility to anyone. I spent a lot of time with your staff and they support you with kindness and compassion. You made it an experience I can remember with fondness.
A young lady at the entrance greeted me in such a friendly manner that the expression on her face, her posture, and her words caught my attention. The instructions are also striking: "you may bathe", "please try to stop smoking", "we would prefer", "please perform a few days", "please be patient as you heal." And finally, "We wish you a speedy recovery." These instructions come from doctors and nurses who are authorities in dermatology. Yet, they are delightfully modest.
In my observation, it is clear very little goes on in your office without distinct deliberation. It seems you have an exact process for everything – from the knock on the door while a patient is waiting to the language on the handout being exact, engaging, and grammatically correct. You are not only an outstanding surgeon, but an outstanding businessman/ manager/etc. It shows in your office and in your people.
I appreciate your generosity in allowing me to observe you at work. This was very educational, and now I feel I can properly inform patients about the expected experience when undergoing Mohs surgery. It is clear to me what an elegant, accurate, and effective method to excising skin cancers. I am impressed with the way your clinic is run. The nurses and staff are very professional and responsive to the patients which I’m sure they appreciate. I hope to see you in the future!
I just wanted to drop you a line to tell you how happy I am concerning the care you gave me. I tend to be quite critical of everything from medical service to cereal box design. I even rate things on the traditional A to F scale. I have never rated anything an A plus but Mohs broke through!
