Skin Cancer Screenings & Medical Dermatology

In addition to Mohs surgery, we offer Comprehensive Skin Cancer & Dermatologic Care at AMSD, including skin cancer screenings, biopsies, non-Mohs excisions, curettage, and topical therapy for cancers that may not need Mohs surgery.  These services are provided by Shelby Coplen, PA-C, Taylor Foxworthy, PA-C, and Tabitha Bayne, PA-C:  three highly-trained and experienced Physician Assistants who previously practiced together and then joined our team in 2024-26. Shelby, Taylor, and Tabitha are also experts in the treatment of rashes, psoriasis, rosacea, and acne. Shelby is available on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:30 am to 3:45 pm.  Taylor works on Tuesday to Friday from 7:30 am to 3:45 pm.  Tabitha cares for patients on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 7:30 am to 3:45 pm.  Please call us at (520) 612-7722 to schedule an appointment. We look forward to taking excellent care of you.

If you already have an established relationship with a trusted dermatologist, we are happy to address just cancers needing our specialized Mohs surgical services.

Please note that our clinic does not specialize in cosmetic services or disorders of hair and nails.

Just a quick note to express my sincere gratitude to you and the rest of your staff for the attention I was shown during my last surgical visit. It is not in my genetic makeup to make a practice of writing these types of letters, but the compassion, enthusiasm, reassurance, and medical expertise shown by you and your staff more than warrant it.

Thank you for the Dermabrasion. My nose looks 100% better. You are the BEST doctor I know, and Theresa you are by far the best nurse I ever seen. Thank you for being so thoughtful and making me feel special. I just can't say enough about you two.  Thank you.

We had a very positive experience at AZ Mohs Surgery. From Nathalie & good directions, kind eyes Lindsay’s reception, to beautiful Blanca’s good natured pre surgery banter and Dr. Dhir’s surgery – all went well and we appreciated our very fine treatment.

Your patience, time, and care are greatly appreciated. I am so absolutely pleased with my leg that now each and every day I am able to look at it, and for once, to not be ashamed of the scars that were once there. Thank you so much. I will always be grateful to you.

I would like to thank Dr. Dhir who is as good as it gets in giving patient care. In this day and time when health care is criticized for various reasons, it is very refreshing to have an organization such as yours doing it the right way. Since my experience with your people, I feel very good about health care and will let others know that you are not only dedicated to your craft but are also dedicated to your patients. Thank you again for making this a very pleasant experience.

It has been a little over a week since my last subcision procedure and things are going and looking great! I want you to know how much I greatly appreciate your help, kindness, and concern. You are one of the few doctors who leaves you with the pleasing impression that they honestly care about their patients.
